You can pop us an email at booking@furandfeathersboarding.com, send a message through Facebook or WhatsApp, or give us a call the old fashioned way! All our links can be found at the top right of this page.  Once availability is confirmed, we will send over a copy of our ‘Pet Information Sheet’ unless this has already been completed. This will include information such as emergency contacts and current registered vet as well as your pets preferences. We will also provide a copy of our Terms and Conditions which will require a signature before your booking can go ahead.

There is no need to bring food bowls or water bottles as they will be provided. We suggest that your smaller pets board with us in their own cage if possible, to avoid too much disruption to them. With this, they would come with their own wheel and tubes etc, however we do provide toys and boredom breakers for your pet to play with during their stay if required. All vegetables and kibble is provided, but if your pets are picky eaters and they would prefer to bring their own food, feel free to bring this along with you. When preparing your pet to bring to us, we always suggest you bring a bit of their used bedding if possible, as this will make their accommodation smell like home and make them a little more comfortable.

Rabbits and Guinea Pigs diet should consist of 80% hay and this will be provided at all times. We have our own greenhouse growing peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes and everything is grown organically with no pesticides, which will provide veggies for your pet, however we are at the mercy of UK weather and so this may need to be topped up from the supermarket as well. We currently use Burgess Excel nuggets and Burgess Excel Timothy Feeding Hay, Friendly Timothy Ready Grass and additional bedding hay. All water provided to your pets is filtered to remove additional calcium to avoid contributing to sludge or bladder stones.

This is a service we can provide, however a little flexibility is required. Please discuss this with us before hand and we can provide a quote for you.

We have outdoor accommodation for your pets and limited indoor accommodation available. Your pets will be able to see our other visitors however there will be no direct contact to avoid any fighting or unexpected pregnancies. Any outdoor play will be either on their own or as part of their bonded pair or group only. If your pet does enjoy cuddles, our hands will be thoroughly washed before handling pets and between pets to avoid any cross-contamination.

According to the RSPCA ‘The minimum cage size for two guinea pigs should be 120cm x 60cm x 45cm’. Our hutches are 6ft x 2ft x 2ft (180cm x 61cm x 61cm), allowing your pets(s) the space to sleep, popcorn and stand up and have a nosey at what is going on around them should they wish!

We can accept cash, or Bank transfer. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further information.

We may request a 10% deposit during our busiest periods or for long term stays.

If you would like to pay in instalments leading up to drop off, we can accommodate this upon request.

We can arrange a video call so you can see where your pet will stay and get to know us better too.

We can also arrange an on-site visit, by appointment only.
