Your Information

As part of our Pet Information forms we ask our customers for the following information:

  • Your Name
  • Your Address – Should you wish to receive a copy of our Terms and Conditions by post, we will use this address. Should you pets require any vet treatment during their stay, our vet may need to contact your registered vet practice for pet history. Often as part of this, the vet needs to confirm the owner information. We are able to provide a pick up and drop off service, if this is previously agreed, and so also need your address for this. If you accidently leave anything behind, we may post this back to you. 
  • Phone Number – We may need to contact you regarding your query about booking with us. We may also need to contact you during your pets stay with us, including if you have opted in to receive updates and photo’s of your pets whilst you are away.
  • Emergency Contact – This number will only be used in the unlikely event that your pet becomes ill and we are not able to get hold of the main contact through all contact methods that we hold.
  • Email Address – We send out of Pet Information Sheet and a copy of our Terms and Conditions to our customers via email. We may also email with updates on your pet during their stay with us. Often this is done via WhatsApp, however this is at the customers preference.
  • Vet practice information – In the unlikely event that your pet becomes ill during their stay with us, we will contact your registered vet.

Any information that we hold is kept strictly confidential. This is never shared with any third party. You are able to request at any time what information we hold on you. You are able to request for your information to be altered or deleted at any time.  

Your Pet Information

It is important to us to provide the best experience for your pet during their stay with us. In order to do this we collect information on your pet such as:

  • Name
  • Sex
  • Breed
  • Likes and Dislikes – If your pet does not like being handled, or prefers a quieter environment, this is something that we try to accommodate.
  • Dietary requirements – If your pet does not like a particular food we will not provide this for your pet. If there is something that may make your pet ill or is on a restricted diet, it is important we know this in order to provide continuity of care
  • Medications and illnesses – It is important that we are made aware of this before your pets stay so we can continue providing medication for your pet. This is also important, should your pet before ill whilst you are away, we can then provide this information to the vet.
  • Vaccinations – It is important that any rabbits staying with us are up to date on their vaccinations before staying with us. We apologise, but without a copy of their vaccination card, we are not able board your rabbit at Fur & Feathers Boarding.

Each pet that stays with us is assigned their own QR code. This allows us to scan the code, enter a secure password and see your pet’s information at a glance. In an effort to help the environment and keep your information secure, we do not store any hard copies of your information. This is all stored securely in the cloud, and is protected by two-factor authentication. 

On our website and social media pages we add photo’s of our own pets and those of our customers. As part of Pet Information Sheet, we require consent to use photo’s of your pets, without this we will not do so. Should we use an image of your pet on our website or social media, there is no identifying information added as the owner or location of the pet. Only the pets name is used. Should the pet owner tag themselves or others in these posts, they do so of their own volition and responsibility. Without your consent to use images of your pet, we will never use images of your pets on our website or social media.
